Kennels` Favourite® Puppy&Junior Salmon and Rice complete and balanced (wheat gluten free) dry food for puppies of all breeds.Has been specially developed with assistence of internationally recognised Dutch experts of veterinary nutrition. • Anthelmintic (Antiparasitic) Property: Helminths are a broad range of organisms that include intestinal parasitic worms. Infestation with helminths can cause morbidity, and sometimes death, it can damage the nutritional status, affect the cognitive processes, induce tissue reactions, such as granuloma, and provoke intestinal obstruction.
  Deworming of a dog is not only important for the healthcare of the pet, but also for the healthcare of the owner, for it is known that some types of worms can infect humans as well. Especially important is the treatment of worms in puppies. The plant mixture we add to our Kennels` Favourite® Puppy&Junior Salmon and Rice food, has an inhibitory effect on parasites due to the contained amino acids (one of which is cucurbitin), alkaloids, tannins and essential oils, that are known in folk medicine as an effective means to help remove tapeworms and other parasites from the gastrointestinal tract.
• Formula «Sensitive», formulated Wheat Gluten-Free ans Salmon: Wheat gluten is a vegetable protein (gluten), it is poorly digested by dogs and also promotes growth of harmful bacteria in the intestines under which influence toxins are formed. Kennels` Favourite® Puppy&Junior Salmon and Rice is wheat gluten free and protects against allergic reactions on food. This food has high content of premium salmon. • NO Growing Pains, Locomotor System Agents (Salmon Oil, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane), Chondroitin and Glucosamin): Have a positive effect on the joints and promote cartilage repair. Increase the supply of water to the cartilage, thus strengthening the lubricating properties of joints. Participate in anti-inflammatory processes and thus reduce joint pain. Lend the cartilage flexibility, elasticity and resilience. Block cartilage decay and destruction. They have a positive effect in the event of skin inflammation. Feeding advice
– puppies of small and medium breeds up to 6-8 months;
– puppies of medium and medium-large breeds op to 4-6 months;
– puppies of large and giant breeds up to 18-24 months;

Feed your puppy up to 3 months old, 5 times a day.
From 4 months, the puppy should be fed 4 times a day.
Divide hereby the daily feeding amount into 4 meals and give them to the puppy at same time intervals (e.g. in the morning at 8 a.m., then at 11 a.m., 3 p.m, 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. before bedtime). At the age of 4 to 6 months you can switch to 3 meals a day.
After 6 months – to 2 meals a day. Although it is also possible to feed an adult dog 3 times a day, dogs are usually switched to 2 meals a day from the age of 6 months – hereby one half of the daily feeding amount is given in the morning, and the other half – in the evening. Don’t play with your puppy after every meal – he will first need to rest for 1-2 hours.
It is advised to soak the dry kibbles for puppies beforehand with a little bit warm broth or warm water.
Always give your puppy food and water in clean bowls. Make sure that your puppy always has fresh and available drinking water next to the food. The water bowl should be thoroughly cleaned 1-2 times a day and filled with fresh drinking water.

Because each dog has different requirements, the recommended daily quantities should only be used as a guide. This is a guide only, as an individual dog’s requirements will vary depending on various factors including breed, activity level, metabolism, age and environment. Feeding quantities should be adjusted to suit your individual dog’s requirements. The amount of feed the best to split over 4 meals per day. When feeding for the first time introduce Kennels` Favourite® gradually over a period of 4 to 10 days. Make sure that you always provide plenty of fresh drinking water for your dog. Regularly clean food and water bowls.

Storage advice

While dry food will not spoil as rapidly as other types of food, it does not last indefinitely. Always make sure that you use such foods before the expiration date. Keep the food dry and store it inside the bag it came in; we design the bags to resist moisture and airflow. The best way to store a large bag of dog or cat food is to place the original bag inside a clean plastic pail or container with a secure lid. Do not store dry food in humid rooms, as damp conditions will accelerate spoiling. Always roll the top of the bag down tightly and cinch it closed with a clip. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that pet owners keep dry foods and treats in locations that do not exceed 23°.C (degrees Calsius) or 74°.F (degrees Fahrenheit).
