The kibbles are made of pure ingredients and are untreated, so your dog can smell what he’s eating. The acceptance level of this food is extremely high. The kibbles are slightly fatty (with the right sort of fats, naturally!), which is good for both, the coat and the bowels. As RINGS of this food are ideal for smaller breeds, or for large dogs who bolt their food. The shape of the kibbles let the dog chew thoroughly, so that it takes longer over its food and gulps less air, and therefore has less trouble with burping, it also keeps the food down better if it’s in a playful mood after eating. This food keeps your dog’s teeth extra clean as well because of the extra chewing.
 

• Formula «Sensitive», formulated Wheat Gluten-Free: PWheat gluten is a vegetable protein (gluten), it is poorly digested by dogs and also promotes growth of harmful bacteria in the intestines under which influence toxins are formed. Kennels` Favourite® Active Rings is wheat gluten free and protects against allergic reactions on food.
• EPA+DHA (Omega-3 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids): Provide the immune function and skin maintenance. Reduce inflammatory reactions that may occur during the development of atopic diseases and osteoarthritis. Omega-6 and -3 fatty acids are present in the ideal 5:1 ratio.
  
• Chondro Protective Agents (Salmon Oil, Chondroitin and Glucosamine): Have a positive effect on the joints, monitor the restoration of cartilage tissue and prevent the joints from wear and tear. Increase the flow of water into the cartilage tissue, enhancing thereby the lubricating properties of the joints. They take part in anti-inflammatory processes and therewith, relieve joint pain. Give flexibility, elasticity and strength to the cartilage tissue. Block the degradation and destruction of cartilage tissue. Have a positive effect on inflammation of the skin.
  Glucosamine stimulates the synthesis of healthy cartilage tissue and the formation of synoval fluid, a delicate joint lubricant. Glucosamine is a real joint building material and the most powerful in nature „catcher“ of water molecules, which returns strength and elasticity to joint cartilage. Chondroitin keeps the with glucosamine bound water in the cartilage, thus creating a kind of elastic cushion-shock absorber. In this way the revival of the joint and its protection from wear and tear is done in two directions, reducing the risk of arthritis.

• Moisture Level 8%: Prevents the growth of malignant bacteria and thus protects the feed from rotting, guaranteeing the ingredients have maximum resistance to decomposition.

Feeding advice

Because each dog has different requirements, the recommended daily quantities should only be used as a guide. This is a guide only, as an individual dog’s requirements will vary depending on various factors including breed, activity level, metabolism, age and environment. Feeding quantities should be adjusted to suit your individual dog’s requirements. The amount of feed the best to split over two meals per day. When feeding for the first time introduce Kennels` Favourite® gradually over a period of 4 to 10 days. The daily amount divided into 2 portions. Always give your dog food and water in clean bowls. Make sure that your dog always has fresh and available drinking water next to the food. The water bowl should be thoroughly cleaned 1-2 times a day and filled with fresh drinking water.

Storage advice

While dry food will not spoil as rapidly as other types of food, it does not last indefinitely. Always make sure that you use such foods before the expiration date. Keep the food dry and store it inside the bag it came in; we design the bags to resist moisture and airflow. The best way to store a large bag of dog or cat food is to place the original bag inside a clean plastic pail or container with a secure lid. Do not store dry food in humid rooms, as damp conditions will accelerate spoiling. Always roll the top of the bag down tightly and cinch it closed with a clip. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that pet owners keep dry foods and treats in locations that do not exceed 23°.C (degrees Celsius) or 74°.F (degrees Fahrenheit).
